Product Introduction
Field fence, also known as cattle fence or grassland fence, is fabricated from high-tensile steel wire, available with or without galvanized zinc coating. Graduated knotted field wire mesh is widely installed along farmland and grassland boundaries, ideal for enclosing cattle, deer and other grazing animals.
Manufactured using galvanized steel wire, field fence features differing inner and outer wire diameters, with high-tensile strength outer wires. Its distinctive hinge joint acts like a flexible hinge: yielding under pressure and springing back to its original shape. The flexible hinge simplifies installation while maintaining consistent fence height, reliable protection and neat appearance. Each vertical wire is individually cut and wrapped to achieve optimal strength and flexibility.
Field fence adopts heavy-gauge steel wire, and all connection joints are crimped to enhance structural stability. It serves as a preferred fencing solution for containing cattle, hogs and other large livestock. Standard field fence utilizes 12-gauge wire for the main framework. For extended service life, thicker 10-gauge wire is commonly used for the top and bottom outer strands to gain extra rigidity. The hinge-joint structure tightly wraps vertical wires around horizontal wires at every intersection. This special construction delivers superior horizontal strength compared to ordinary welded wire fence.
Fixed-Knot Fence
The fixed-knot design reinforces wire intersections from two opposite directions, effectively eliminating wire slippage and displacement.
Woven Field Fence
Woven field fence is constructed by interweaving steel wires, with customized knots strengthening every joint. Specially crimped joints grant outstanding flexibility against sudden impacts. The fence can bounce back to its original form after being pushed or rammed by large animals. Thanks to such resilient performance, woven field fence works perfectly for goats, sheep, poultry and other livestock prone to pushing against fences.
