    • What is Nichrome Wire Mesh?

      Nichrome Wire Mesh is a high-performance alloy mesh manufactured from nickel-chromium alloys, commonly available in Ni80Cr20 and custom formulations. It features remarkable high-temperature resistance up to 1200°C (2192°F), high electrical resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. Maintaining stable structural performance under harsh operating conditions, it is extensively adopted as heating elements, high-temperature filter media and thermal insulation materials across industrial and commercial sectors.
      This alloy mesh delivers excellent tensile strength, oxidation resistance and high-temperature corrosion resistance.
      The two most prevalent grades are Nichrome 80 and Nichrome 60.
      Nichrome 80 (Ni80Cr20) mesh is the widely preferred heating element for household and industrial heating systems, supporting working temperatures as high as 1200°C.
      Nichrome 60 (Ni60Cr15) possesses higher electrical resistivity than Nichrome 80, and is suitable for moderate-temperature service environments with a maximum operating temperature of 1100°C.
