Chain Link Fence/diamond fence

Chain link fencing (also known by various alternative names including metal mesh, wire mesh fencing, chain mesh fencing, tornado fencing, hurricane fencing, and diamond mesh fencing) is a common type of woven fencing, typically produced from galvanized steel wire or linear low-density polyethylene coated steel wire. These individual wires are arranged vertically and bent into a repeating zigzag pattern: every outward "zig" section interlocks with the adjacent wire on one side, while every inward "trough" section hooks onto the adjacent wire on the opposite side. It is this unique interlocking structure that forms the distinctive diamond pattern which serves as the signature characteristic of this fencing type.
