Product Introduction
Duplex stainless steel wire mesh is a mesh material manufactured from duplex stainless steel grades including 2205 and 2507 via weaving or welding processes. Integrating the ductility of austenitic stainless steel and the high strength of ferritic stainless steel, it delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, superior mechanical performance and favorable cost efficiency. It finds extensive applications in the chemical industry, marine engineering, food processing and other sectors.
Duplex stainless steel woven wire mesh is fabricated by interlacing 2205 or 2507 warp and weft yarns at right angles. Specifically, every warp wire and weft wire alternately passes over a certain number of intersecting wires before going beneath the subsequent set of wires. As a typical example, twill woven wire mesh features warp and weft wires that run over two consecutive wires and then under the following two wires in both directions.
Furthermore, the product consists of two separate sets of straight wires arranged perpendicularly to one another.
Weave types are different because of different interlacing of warp and weft wires and different wire diameter.
